Dr. Hillary Norton
Hillary Norton MD, completed her medical school training as well as internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of New Mexico. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Dr. Norton is also a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the New Mexico Medical Society.
Dr. Norton is a dedicated rheumatologist who serves as a clinical investigator for multiple rheumatology and autoimmune diseases registries. She has co-authored papers in Arthritis and Rheumatism, the Journal of Rheumatology and other peer reviewed journals. She also serves on the board of directors of the Association of Women in Rheumatology.
As both a spondylitis patient and physician, her passion as a rheumatology and autoimmune diseases doctor, is furthering education and awareness of spondylitis. She is an active speaker and consultant on the topics of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Ankylosing Spondylitis.
She is active in national educational campaigns for these disease states. Along with her practice staff, Dr. Norton also volunteers with her local chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
